Bend-Tech 7x Wiki :: Main Menu Bar :: File :: Export
Design files can be exported as a Data (.dxf), Bitmap image (.bmp), Template, STEP (.step/.stp), IGES (.iges/.igs), BREP (.brep), Program file (.csv), or Exchange File (.btxf).
Export Data/Bitmap/STEP/IGES/BREP/Program File/Exchange File: To export a design file, place the cursor over the Export option and select an option from the list that appears. Once an option has been chosen, an Export (File Type) File window will appear. In this window, give the file a name and location then click Save.
Export Bitmap: To export a design file as a bitmap image, select Bitmap. This will only export what is shown in the 3D part display. Once selected, the Save Image window will display. Give the image a name and location then click Save.
Export Template: Part designs can be exported as templates. When a part is exported as a template, the part's information (determined by which Export Template is selected) is taken and either sent to a text file or a defined file extension. Custom templates can be set up in the Export Template menu under the Tools menu. To export a file as a template, select Template from the menu. Choose which custom template to use for this part from the 'Select Template' drop down menu. Check the box next to 'Export to File' to have the template information sent directly to a file. If this box is not checked, this part information will be sent to the clipboard which can be pasted into a new location later on. Click the OK button to export the design.
